Chinese Paper Tunics

This is an example of the paper being the inspiration. The blue print and the white are paper napkins from a supermarket. I thought they looked very Chinese. The braid is paper string. The garment shape and detail came from traditional clothes in the Chinese gallery in the Victoria & Albert Museum.
